Back in the 1960s, Halpern was a trumpet and guitar player in the New York City jazz scene. After failing to find satisfaction in his music then, he decided to create his own form of “anti-frantic alternative” music as an answer to the perpetual stress and frustration faced by many people like him. And thanks to his brave leap into the unknown, we now have more than 80 musical recordings that help to make this crazy world more tolerable.
Music for Healing is one of Halpern’s best-selling albums on Amazon.com. It’s not difficult to understand why.
