Heal Your Life with Creative Art-Making

Art-making can be an extremely effective way to express our emotional turmoil by helping us to come to terms with reality that is otherwise difficult to accept.

Contrary to what you may think, you don’t have to be an artist to create art. All of us, including you, are born with the ability to draw. Like free writing, when you are creating art as a form of release, you simply harsh your inner critic and set yourself free.

Mandala is one of the most common art forms used by many people for healing. But, don’t limit yourself to circles only. Draw whatever comes to mind; use whichever tools — colored markers, digital brush or even iron — that suit you best to tell your story.

Here are some beautiful works of art which I hope will inspire you to create your own. You can also pick the ones that resonant the most with you and use them in your daily meditation and visualization.

Please enjoy the collection, as much as I have enjoyed putting it together for you. If you like to see more works from a particular artist, just click on the image to visit the artist’s website.
